After Assessment View Data has been uploaded into eduCLIMBER, users need to consider different features and functions to view the data in the desired format. This lesson begins assuming an Assessment View from DnA has already been linked to eduCLIMBER and the 24-hour time period has passed that the data has been uploaded into eduCLIMBER.
Required Permission: Link Assessment Views to eduCLIMBER
Before You Begin
This lesson begins assuming users have linked an Assessment View to eduCLIMBER and have waited the 24-hour periods for the data to be uploaded. For more information on this, visit Create and Manage an Assessment View.

- Select Assessments.
- Choose the name of the Assessment Group from the list. This should match the name of the Assessment View from DnA.
- Select Performance Bands.
- If the Assessment Group does not have a default Performance Band, it is denoted below the group name.
- Select an existing Performance Band as imported from DnA
- OR select Add Band to create a new common Performance Band if needed or if multiple bands were imported from DnA.
Toggle Default on to use the selected Performance Band as the default for Charts. Update the values or colors as needed.
If the assessments within the view fall into more than one window, use the Windows menu to apply the default to all windows.
Merge Assessments
Users may want to merge assessments into a New assessment for the purpose of better longitudinal reporting. Merging the existing assessments in DnA into a single new eduCLIMBER Assessment Group pulls all of the charts into one. While this is not required, it may be beneficial to admin-level users that have access to more than one class of students.
- Go to System Configuration.
- Go to Assessments.
- Select the name of the Assessment Group and then select Assessments.
- Select New to create an additional assessment to Merge the assessments into.
- Enter an Assessment Name. This should be a more generic name that encompasses the convention used of the existing assessments.
- Enter a Category for the assessment. This should match the Category of the other assessments.
- Select an Assessment Type.
- Select Save Assessment.
- Select the original Assessments from the table.
- Select Merge.
- Choose the New Assessment that was created for the purpose of merging.
- Select Apply.
If an error occurs when trying to merge, students have scores in more than one of the selected assessments. Please review the assessment data, students with multiple scores cannot be accommodated at this time in merged assessments.
