This lesson will guide you through creating and SLO. Any individual can create an SLO (Student Learning Objective) within the current school year. This SLO can be accessed at any time and can be adjusted to meet your needs.
Where to Start
Find the data to use to build your SLO (Student Learning Objective) and click SLO in the left grey action menu.
A pop-up will appear, prompting you to click any piece of information to build your SLO - select the data to pull in.
A new screen will appear that steps through the process to create the SLO.
- Identify the SLO name.
- Identify the Reviewer of the SLO (configured in Users & Security).
- The assessment will be completed for you.
- Identify the SLO start date.
- Identify the SLO monitor date.
- Select the ending testing window.
- Identify the SLO ending date.
- Provide a detailed rationale.
- Click Next.
Create the SLO Goal
- Identify if the SLO will be based on the Target Growth or the Average Score.
- Make any adjustments to the Goal.
- Make any adjustments to the Goal.
- If building an SLO from the Target Growth, the Baseline and Goal ranges need to be equal.
- Click Next.
Add Strategies to Your SLO (Optional)
- Click the + icon to add strategies to your SLO.
- Identify the specifics of the strategy
- Continue to click + to add additional strategies
- Click Next to continue.
Add Logistics to Your SLO (Optional)
- Click the + icon to add logistics to your SLO.
- Identify the specifics of the logistic (Trainings, Materials)
- Continue to click + to add additional strategies
- Click Save.
Access Your SLO
- To access your SLO, go back to the launchpad and click the SLO button/tile.
- Identify the individual/yourself as the user.
- Click Search.
- Click Open to view the SLO.
Interact with Your SLO
- Click Print to print a PDF of current data and details related to your SLO.
- Click Edit Plan to edit the SLO.
- Click Logistics to add any additional logistics to your SLO.
- Click Strategies to add any additional strategies to your SLO.
- Click Journal to add any notes to your SLO
