This lesson reviews how to navigate through the Top Navigation bar, Side Navigation Bar, and Launchpad in eduCLIMBER.
Top Navigation Bar
- Home button: When selected, takes users back to the Launchpad regardless of where they are in the system.
- Search tabs: Allows users to search for different categories of data. To learn more, visit District, Grade, and Class Tabs.
- Calendar: Events created in eduCLIMBER that pertain to the user. This can include Interventions, SLOs, Meetings, Tasks, and Progress Monitoring.
- Messages: Displays new messages sent to users, which may be personal, or district-level messages.
- Notifications: Houses notifications that are sent to users within the system.
- Educator Academy: Brings the user to the Renaissance Educator Academy site, which houses product training content.
- User Profile: This allows users to update personal preferences, such as default school, default data wall, and access to switch users if access permits.
Side Navigation Bar
- Quick Create/Enter: Quickly create an Action Item, Intervention, Incident, Meeting, Enter Assessment Scores, Create a Scatter Plot, or Export Data without accessing a specific module.
- Student Profile: Access a specific student's profile to view all data related to the student for current and historical years. To learn more, visit Student Profile Overview.
- Students 3D: Tool that allows users to drill into data to see a whole child view. To learn more, visit Students 3D Overview.
- Achievement Dashboard: Achievement Dashboard is a tool designed to help educators work smarter with an interactive dashboard tool with customizable visualizations of real-time data that create shareable insights and school improvement plans. - Charting: Compilation of the charting options offered within the District, Grade, and My Class tabs.
- Collections: Create collaborative, virtual folders that will be placed on the Launchpad. To learn more, visit the Collections manual.
- Meetings: Feature that organizes team agendas and notes, as well as student information for students added to the meeting. To learn more, visit the Meetings manual.
- smartFORMS: Customizable forms that can be created and used for data collection and entry. To learn more, visit the smartFORMs manual.
- Incidents: Displays all incident data a user has entered and observed, as well as incidents related to students the user has access to. To learn more, visit the Incidents manual.
- Interventions: Tool to create intervention plans for a student or group of students, which can record attendance and comments, and analyze results. To learn more, visit the Interventions manual.
- Thresholds: Tool to create metrics on academics, incidents, and attendance. To learn more, visit the Thresholds manual.
- Action Items: Aspects of a smartFORM or Meeting that require user action. The Action Items module displays all items that are To Do, In Progress, On Hold, or Done, as they pertain to the user.
- Uploads: Tool to add data into eduCLIMBER, including Assessment, Attendance, Progress Monitoring, and Behavior data. To learn more, visit the Uploads manual.
- System Configuration: Admin-level feature used to configure aspects such as Attendance, District Information, School Information, and more.
Launchpad

Calendar - Provides a visual of:
(Calendar Date can be updated using the calendar icon in the top right.)
- Open Assessment Windows - Number of open assessment windows on the calendar day.
- Action Items - Number of action items to complete on the calendar day.
- Open Incidents - Number of open incidents (that may need to be closed) on the calendar day.
- Meetings Scheduled - Number of meetings the user may need to attend on the calendar day.
- Ending Interventions - Number of interventions ending on the calendar day.

Implementation Fidelity - Provides a quick calculation of:
- Procedures Completed - Percentage of procedures that have been completed in interventions.
- Participation Rate - Percentage rate of student participation in interventions.

Intervention Tools - Provides quick access to:
- Record Participation/Attendance - Allows users to record intervention participation and attendance.
- Enter Monitoring Scores - Allows users to enter scores for Monitoring (Academic) Interventions.
- Enter Point Scores - Allows users to enter scores for Point Sheet (Behavior) Interventions.
- View My Interventions - View all interventions.

Visualizations - Provides visuals and interactive graphs of:
- Incidents - Displays the incidents for each incident type within a two week period. The date range can be updated using the calendar icon in the top right.
- Attendance - Displays the attendance rates over the last year.
- Enrollment - Displays enrollment statistics, and the enrollment trendline over the prior five years, dependent on available data.

Recent Students - Provides a visual of and quick access to:
- The most recently visited Student Profiles.

Quick Links - Provides quick access to:
- User Tag Manager - User tags can be used to identify specific user groups and can also be added as a subscriber to a student’s account. Take a look at Manually Create and Manage User Tags to learn more.
