This lesson will guide you through creating attendance thresholds based on periods in your eduCLIMBER system.
Where to Start

Create Metric
- Choose "Attendance" as the Metric Type to create a behavior threshold.
- Name the metric.
- Select Create.

Add Threshold Details
- Base the metric on Incident Type.
- Enter the Start and End day to set the range of time the threshold will look for incidents (not setting an end date means the threshold will continue to run).
Create Threshold Statement
- Set number of days the threshold looks for attendance events to fall within.
- Choose “the same” (if looking at the same period missed) or “any” (if looking for any combination of periods missed).
- Choose “Greater Than,” “Less Than,” “Equal To”.
- Choose the number that makes the statement true.
2. Add Reasons

Add Reasons
- Select Reasons - the threshold will watch for all reasons specified in this list. If left blank, all reasons in your list will apply.

Add Excused Items
- Select “Excused” items for the absence - the threshold will watch for all excused items as specified in this list. If left blank, all reasons in your list will apply.

Add Statuses
- Select “Excused” items for the absence - the threshold will watch for all excused items as specified in this list. If left blank, all reasons in your list will apply.
