This lesson will guide you through uploading Scholastic data to your eduCLIMBER system.
Where to Start
You can pull it right from Scholastic:
- Log into SAM.
- Click Roster tab.
- Click Export.
- Select Export CSV Roster Data.
- Select the schools and all teachers from dropdown.
- Select checkbox for all classes and all students.
- Enter in start date.
- Enter in end date.
- Uncheck the tests you do not need (I believe this is where you need to keep student data selected).
- Click Export.
- Close window.
- Click Home Tab on SAM.
- Click on Show me... for the most recent message.
- Right click on the most recent job and select Save Target as...
- Change the save as type to all files.
- Save to any location and make sure to change .htm to .csv at the end of file name.
When you are selecting the different assessments there is an area that you need to make sure is checked that will include all student information. If this is not checked then you get a file of results but there are no ids or Student names attached.
