General Questions
What is Charting?
The Charting tab provides users with access to District, Grade, and Class searches, Custom Grade and Course Datawalls, Scatter Plot, Longitudinal Charts, and Program Evaluation. Searching for data through one of these methods promotes data literacy and it prompts users to make pointed selections prior to searching for data. All searches can be saved to access again later, a beneficial tool for more advanced users that don't want to search the same data over and over.

What is the difference between saving a search and pinning it to a Collection?
Pinning is used to promote ease of use for specific sets of data organized in a way that is meaningful to staff along with smartFORMS, Subcollections, and Meetings.

Can I create a Scatter Plot for Incident/Behavior or Attendance data?
Scatter Plots are only for Academic Data within Charting.
However, users can create a Scatter Plot for Incident/Behavior and Attendance Data using the + icon at the top left of the interface and selecting Create Scatter Plot.
