Users that have created their own dashboards have the ability to edit, share, and delete those dashboards. This lesson guides users through each of those options.
Required Permissions: Access District Achievement Dashboard OR Manage District Achievement Dashboard
Where to Start
- Go to Achievement Dashboard.
- Select a personal dashboard.
Share a Dashboard
- Select the Share icon.
- Use the Search bar to enter a user's name to share with.
- Select Advanced to filter for users to share with based on Name, School, Tag, or User Group.
- Any selected users appear in the table.
- Select or deselect the toggles to give the user access to Edit, Share, Duplicate, and/or Delete the dashboard.
If none of the toggles are selected, the user being shared with will be given the default View Only permissions to the dashboard.
- Select the remove icon to remove the user's access to the chosen dashboard.
- Select Save to complete sharing.
Personal dashboards can be shared with any user, whether or not that user has Achievement Dashboard permissions assigned to them. Once a dashboard has been shared to a user without Achievement Dashboard permissions, they will be able to see and access the Achievement Dashboard icon in the navigation bar, as well as the shared dashboard, and any shared permissions to that dashboard. However, they will remain unable to view and access District Dashboards, or create their own dashboards.
Edit, Delete, and Duplicate
- Select the three-dot menu.
- Select Dashboard Details to edit the School Year, Dashboard Name, or Description.
- Select Delete to remove the selected dashboard. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
- Select Duplicate to create a copy of the chosen dashboard. You will be prompted to enter a new name, and may choose to Apply global filters, Clone Goals, Clone Objectives, and/or Clone Action Items. School Year and Description are filled in automatically.
