Rate Adjustment allows districts to translate rates that come in from an attendance import to a new value in eduCLIMBER. With this process, districts identify the rates on the file that will be adjusted to display a new rate.

Most numbers on the extracted file will be 0, 0.5, and 1. However, there may be some SISs that report 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, and 1. Regardless of the extract, districts will tend to focus on 0, 0.5, and 1. These are the numbers districts will enter within eduCLIMBER using the Adjusted Attendance Rate.
Example: When 0-0.49 is found on the extract, show 0 in eduCLIMBER. When 0.5-1 is found on the extract, show 1 in eduCLIMBER.
