Organizations can have their SIS data automatically uploaded with an automated nightly sync to eduCLIMBER. This setup is done during the onboarding process. While eduCLIMBER can automate with many Student Information Systems, some include: PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Skyward, Aeries, and eSchoolData. This lesson provides information on the data that can be automated from the SIS.
Required Permission: Upload Data into eduCLIMBER

Academic Data
Academic data that is added to the SIS can be added to eduCLIMBER. This data typically includes gradebook data.
Behavior Data
Behavior data that is added to the SIS can be added to eduCLIMBER. This data typically includes Majors/Office Discipline Referrals.
Attendance Data
For all Student Information Systems that sync to eduCLIMBER, eduCLIMBER can display the Full Day Rate of attendance. To learn more about this rate and to see additional attendance data that is automated based on SIS, please visit the Understanding the Attendance Charts article.
Additional data stored in the SIS can be automatically sent to eduCLIMBER by generating a data file and sending it via SFTP. To learn more, please visit:
- Users Upload - Upload all user information for users not associated with a roster.
- Demographics - Assign additional demographic data to multiple students.
Next Steps
After the data has been uploaded into eduCLIMBER, visit the Uploads section to see how to validate various data to ensure the data loads into the system cleanly.
