Add state codes to eduCLIMBER to ensure accurate reporting happens from eduCLIMBER to the state.

Overview on Behavior State Codes
Organizations will need to add appropriate State Codes to behaviors. Each incident that will be reported to the state will need to have a code setup on the Behavior Code.

Configure Behavior Codes in eduCLIMBER
Prior to sending incidents from eduCLIMBER to the state, be sure to configure all possible behavior codes within the system and label them with the appropriate state code (see link above).
- Select System Configuration.
- Select Incidents.
- Select Incident Types.
- Select the type that will be reported to the state (i.e. Major, ODR, etc.).
- Select Codes.
- Double-click within the State Code field (for any incident code that will be reported to the state) and add the appropriate state code.
If you do not see the State Code column, select the cogwheel icon in the upper right corner and toggle on the State Code option.
There are some incident codes that have subtypes. For example, the incident code of "Weapons" will have various subtypes inclusive of "Handgun," "Shotgun," etc. Add the corresponding subtypes and state codes.
- Select System Configuration.
- Select Incidents.
- Select Incident Types.
- Select the type that will be reported to the state (i.e. Major, ODR, etc.).
- Select Codes.
- Select the Subtypes field to add all possible subtypes for the defined behavior along with all state codes for each subtype.
- Add the code subtype.
- Select Add.
- Double click within the State Code field to add the state code for the identified subtype (access the link above to see all codes for each subtype).
